Crisis Intervention Training
Continued recognition and support of persons with mental illness should be a cornerstone for businesses, faith-based organizations, and schools. According to NAMI, the National Alliance on Mental Illness, 1 in 5 adults experience mental illness each year. And 1 in 6 youth (age 6-17) experience a mental health disorder each year. These statistics reveal people struggling with mental illness are within our organizations, likely fulfilling important roles. Being able to identify warning signs of mental illness and provide assistance during moments of crisis are critical to ensuring the well-being of organizations and, most importantly, their people.
Levine Security Solutions partners with renowned mental health organizations in Northeast Ohio to provide Crisis Intervention training. Those who attend the Crisis Intervention trainings will become educated on various ways to provide hands-on support to those experiencing a mental health crisis and connect them with professional resources in real-time. Our response to lend aid to those in crisis can save lives. And being there for our people when it matters most will provide immeasurable benefits, both tangible and intangible, to organizational health and culture.
